Full job description

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, we are seeking an HVAC Service Technician in Concord or Barrie ON who will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Maximize equipment up-time through timely response and effective and efficient repair.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Educate customers on proper care and maintenance of equipment.
Promote the value of the Company’s products, services, and programs on every call.
Analyze customer needs, recognize business opportunities, and influence sales volume growth.
Perform timely and accurate ‘trunk stock’ inventory counts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all equipment and regulations.
Participate in the required product and technical training.
Complete all administrative aspects of the job on time and error-free.
Strict adherence to all Company established procedures and policies, including Health and Safety and Company Vehicle.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education or related experience
Minimum 5 years in a HVAC Service Technician role
Proficient in servicing HVAC equipment and water heaters (conventional and tankless)
Knowledge in WiFi devices and other connected products
Must possess a Gas Technician 2 license and certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D or 313)
Holds a valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card and class G Driver’s License
Willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment
Proficient in MSOffice

License

Gas Technician 2 license required
Certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313D or 313) required
Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card Required
Class G Driver’s License Required
