about this team
The Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) team plays a critical role in supporting lululemon’s operational efficiency and scalability. Within GFSS, the Supplier Master Data & Compliance (SMD&C) team includes Master Data Management (MDM), Business Licenses (BL), and Gift Cards (GC), and is responsible for key processes such as maintaining accurate vendor records, ensuring stores have the required business licenses, processing gift cards, and supporting regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.

core responsibilities
This role leads the MDM, BL, and GC function within Global Finance Shared Services, with accountability for operational performance, people leadership, data governance, and continuous improvement. The role balances strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to ensure reliable execution, strong controls, and scalable processes that support global growth.
- Provide overall leadership for MDM, BL, and GC operations, including accountability for both local and offshore teams, service delivery, and outcomes.
- Build, coach, and develop team members and partners, setting clear expectations, reinforcing ownership, and driving a strong performance culture.
- Leverage data, KPIs, and operational insights to set priorities, inform decisions, proactively manage risk, and drive continuous improvement and change.
- Champion cross‑functional initiatives and partner with key business and stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and strategic impact.
- Own governance and ensure compliance with applicable Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Provide oversight of ServiceNow intake and execution, ensuring SLA adherence, effective prioritization, and a consistent, customer‑focused experience.
- Establish and maintain strong process discipline through documentation standards, SOPs, and controls, enabling scalability and audit readiness.
qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6-8 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Accounts Payable, or related finance operations, with exposure to global processes preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or workstreams, including coaching, performance management, and accountability for results (local and/or offshore).
- Strong understanding of vendor data governance, internal controls, and operational risk, with working knowledge of tax reporting processes (e.g., 1099, T4A) and related‑party reporting considered an asset.
- Proven ability to partner cross‑functionally and with business stakeholders of all levels to resolve complex issues and drive alignment.
- Experience overseeing operations within ERP and workflow environments (e.g., ServiceNow), with accountability for SLAs, quality, and customer experience.
- Track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives or projects that improved efficiency, scalability, or control effectiveness.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data and KPIs into decisions, priorities, and actions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, influence outcomes, and represent the function with confidence.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, balancing operational demands with longer‑term improvement goals.
- Advanced proficiency in various Microsoft Office Apps.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $95,400 - 125,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
