Overnight paeds nursing position available 11pm-7am. Please read job details fully!

This position is caring for 1 child in their Seaforth home overnight so caregivers can rest.

We are searching for nurses who are dedicated to providing the type of care the we would want for our own loved ones and by offering our competitive wages, a phone allowance along with a dedicated support team to back you in the field we have been able to do just that. PT overnight position 11pm-7am which includes 3 weeknights, we will create a schedule to offset current staff to ensure 7 days coverage. You must be flexible for the working weeknights, this position does include every other weekend as well, both sat and sun. Once schedule is set, this would be an ongoing schedule.

RPN pay rate is $35/hr, this pay rate applies to the rural area only.

Part time staff receive a $25 monthly phone allowance.

Responsibilities:

Medically complex child requiring trach care, vent (to be weaned off vent soon), g-tube for feeding and med admin. Overnight Shift Nurse is required to maintain airway patency and monitor respiratory and abdomen status

Requirements:

Peads nursing care experience

Must have an RPN diploma, registered and in good standing with the CNO

TB test results from within 1 year

Police clearance from within 1 year

CPR certificate
