Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
-
Lead and support electrical engineering design for municipal, water, wastewater, commercial, and industrial facilities.

Prepare detailed design documents including calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
-
Model electrical power systems (up to 750V) using tools such as SKM.
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.
-
Conduct site assessments and construction reviews to verify compliance with design requirements.
-
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technologists.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
-
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
-
Eligibility for registration with APEGA.
-
P.Eng, certification is considered an asset.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering,
-
Familiarity in the following categories would be beneficial:
-
Municipal infrastructure.
-
Water and wastewater treatment facilities.
-
Industrial and/or commercial buildings.
-
AutoCAD, Revit, SKM and/or ETAP experience would be an asset.
-
Experience with electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, communications, and control systems.
-
Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and applicable industry standards.
-
Proven ability to coordinate small or medium design packages.
