We are seeking experienced Canadian elementary educators to join a two-week educational exchange program in China this summer(July 27-Aug 7, 2026).
The program will focus mainly on elementary science education, interdisciplinary STEM learning, inquiry-based teaching, engineering design, low-cost hands-on projects, Science Fair-style student inquiry, and the use of AI tools in science learning and teaching.
This is a professional exchange program. Selected educators will share practical Canadian classroom approaches and exchange ideas with experienced Chinese science teachers and education professionals.
Our program has successfully trained and benefited over 3,000 educators in Jiangsu Province, and this year we are focusing on early childhood education leadership and management.

Ideal Candidates
We are especially interested in educators with experience in elementary science, STEM, ADST, maker education, science inquiry projects, engineering design challenges, Science Fair project guidance, or AI-supported teaching.
Experience leading workshops, professional development sessions, or mentoring other teachers is highly preferred.
We also welcome educators who have experience supporting teachers in guiding students’ innovation projects, science inquiry projects, cross-curricular STEM activities, or Science Fair-style learning.
Possible Workshop Topics
Canadian approaches to elementary science inquiry
Low-cost STEM and engineering design challenges
How to guide students through mini science inquiry projects
Science Fair-style project design and student support
Maker activities and hands-on classroom projects
Cross-curricular connections between science, math, technology, design, language, and presentation
AI tools for lesson planning, research questions, student brainstorming, data organization, reflection, and assessment
Responsibilities
- Share Canadian teaching practices with Chinese elementary teachers
- Deliver practical and interactive workshops
- Demonstrate hands-on science or STEM activities
- Facilitate professional discussion and exchange
- Support teachers in developing mini science inquiry or STEM lesson ideas
- Adapt presentation pace for an interpreted training environment
- Prepare simple workshop outlines or materials before the program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in Canadian elementary schools
- Background in science, STEM, ADST, maker education, educational technology, or inquiry-based learning
- Experience guiding student science projects or Science Fair-style projects
- Experience leading workshops or teacher professional development is an asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working with adult learners and experienced teachers
- Teaching certificate preferred
- Experience with AI tools in education is an asset
Program Format
The program will be delivered in English with interpretation support. The goal is to create a meaningful professional exchange around how Canadian elementary teachers support student inquiry, hands-on STEM learning, innovation, and cross-curricular science applications.
