Full job description

Job Title: Machine Operator – Roll Forming Setup Operator
Department: Production
Reports To: Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

We are a manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our production team in the roll forming department. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of roll-forming equipment to ensure high-quality production and efficient output.

Key Responsibilities

Set up forming rolls on a 1½” shaft roll-forming mill (typically 16 passes).
Operate and maintain roll-forming machines safely and efficiently.
Perform tooling changeovers to produce various profiles and shapes.
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Meet production targets and KPIs through efficient operation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience setting up roll-forming machines.
Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.
Proficient in reading a measuring tape and digital calipers.
Ability to handle heavy materials manually or with lifting equipment (e.g., hoist).
Forklift experience is considered an asset.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
