EFry Health Centre - Join Our Team & Help Improve Lives for the Better
About the EFry Health Centre
The EFry Health Centre is a collaborative, multidisciplinary Community Health Centre dedicated to meeting the whole-person health needs of marginalized women and children. Operated by the EFry Health Services Society from a purpose-built facility in North Surrey, our integrated care team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health professionals, social workers, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical exercise specialists, and dental providers—all working together under one roof.
We provide gender-focused, trauma-informed, and culturally safe care in a welcoming and inclusive environment that helps women and their families build healthier, more resilient futures. In addition to comprehensive health services, we connect patients with community-based support offered through partner organizations such as the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver, including housing and shelter supports, substance use recovery, life skills, and child and youth programs.
Family Physician (1.0 FTE)
We are seeking a Family Physician to join our integrated, team-based primary care environment. This shared-care practice emphasizes collaboration, continuity, and quality improvement, with the goal of improving access to primary care and overall health outcomes for vulnerable women and children.
The Family Physician will support patients in maintaining their health by diagnosing medical conditions, administering treatments, and providing ongoing follow-up care. Every team member plays a role in ensuring that patients feel safe, valued, respected, and cared for as they access services at the EFry Health Centre.
If you are inspired by the opportunity to work at the top of your scope within a supportive, multidisciplinary team—and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children—we invite you to apply.
Scope of Practice
The Family Physician will provide a full scope of primary care services consistent with the breadth and depth of practice expected of a full-time, full-service family practitioner, in alignment with community needs and EFry’s integrated care model. The Physician will also contribute to clinically related teaching, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives, and may participate in clinically related research that supports the advancement of integrated, gender-focused primary care.
