Key Responsibilities
· Project Analysis & Cost Evaluation
Conduct in-depth analysis of client requirements and design drawings. Perform detailed cost assessments for commercial renovation projects, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, and other related expenses.
· Accurate Estimation & Proposal Development
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and bid proposals based on thorough cost evaluations.
· Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
Engage actively with material suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing. Perform cost comparisons and negotiate to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness.
· Contract Support
Assist in the preparation and review of contract documents related to project quotations.
· Market Research
Monitor industry trends, market price fluctuations, and the emergence of new materials and technologies to enhance the accuracy and competitiveness of estimates.
· Team Collaboration
Work closely with sales, design, and construction teams to ensure the feasibility of estimates and the smooth execution of projects.
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimating within commercial renovations or the broader construction industry
· Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards
· Proven ability in cost analysis and budgeting, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and other relevant software tools
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills for both internal and external stakeholders
· High attention to detail, with a meticulous and responsible work attitude
· Capable of working independently, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure
