Role: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Location: Edmonton, AB – In-Office Daily

Industry: Architecture & Design

Salary: $48,000 - $50,000

Our client, a busy architectural design firm seeking a polished, professional, and personable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of an organization, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional support to both clients and colleagues.

We're looking for someone with a positive, bubbly personality, strong communication skills, and a genuine willingness to help wherever needed. Experience in architecture, construction, engineering, or a professional services environment is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients, visitors, and vendors, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries.
Manage office administration, supplies, meeting rooms, and general office coordination.
Provide administrative support to leadership and project teams.
Assist with document preparation, filing, scheduling, and project administration.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, expense tracking, and other basic accounting functions.
Coordinate mail, couriers, and office-related vendors.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or Office Coordinator role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exposure to accounting functions such as invoicing, AP, AR, or bookkeeping is an asset.
