Controller – 16 Month Contract
About the Opportunity-
Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning.

Prepare and file tax remittances and other regulatory submissions.

Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed.

Provide financial reporting and analysis to support leadership decision-making.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
About You-
CPA designation (or equivalent) preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting or controllership experience, ideally in a professional services environment.

Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and/or IFRS.

Experience with QuickBooks Online and ADP payroll (or similar platforms).

Advanced Excel skills and the ability to develop financial reports and analyses.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary
$90,000/Year
