About the Role
HealthOne is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our growing team!
The Facilities Assistant plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment for our patients and team members. This role supports the day-to-day needs of the clinic through cleaning, laundry, supply restocking, and general upkeep of clinic spaces.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, service-minded, and takes pride in creating a well-maintained environment that supports a positive patient experience.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

5:00pm-10:00pm (some flexibility on start and end time)
Reports To: Facilities Manager
Responsibilities
-
Support cleaning and general maintenance of all clinic areas
-
Follow assigned cleaning schedules and approved clinic cleaning procedures
-
Empty garbage and recycling, and support proper clinic waste disposal procedures
-
Complete regular spot checks and refresh clinic areas as needed
-
Restock staff areas and common spaces as needed
-
Support linen sorting, washing, drying, folding, and restocking
-
Receive, organize, and distribute deliveries as needed
-
Assist with basic inventory checks and communicate supply needs

Report any general maintenance deficiencies

Support minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks as needed

Assist with moving small furniture or equipment and organization projects as needed

Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe, welcoming, and patient-ready environment

Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager
Requirements
-
Minimum of six months of cleaning experience in a medical clinic, office, or commercial building
-
Hard-working, detail-oriented, and committed to doing a great job, while taking pride and ownership in the delivery of your work

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a busy clinic environment

Reliable self-starter, with the ability to follow instructions while working independently
-
Ability to support basic repairs and maintenance tasks
-
Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and walk throughout your scheduled shift, as well as lift 20 to 50 lbs when required
Compensation
$20 to $26 per hour, based on experience
