Position Purpose
The Program Delivery Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering high-impact entrepreneurship programming. This position is responsible for facilitating programs, coaching entrepreneurs, coordinating mentorship opportunities, and supporting community engagement initiatives.
This role requires a highly capable individual who can independently lead program delivery, effectively teach and coach entrepreneurs, and ensure participants progress from idea to execution. The Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director/Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Development, Delivery & Facilitation (≈ 60%)
- Design, develop, and deliver entrepreneurship programs (e.g., Business Immigrant Essentials (BIE), MVP, workshops, and other initiatives).
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual sessions for groups (3–20 participants).
- Lead curriculum delivery using practical frameworks (e.g., Lean Canvas, Business Model Canvas).
- Coordinate and host guest speakers and experiential learning activities.
- Monitor participant progress and ensure program objectives and outcomes are achieved.
- Continuously improve program content based on feedback and results.
- Track/Record program key performance indicators.
2. Mentorship & Coaching (≈ 20%)
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching to entrepreneurs at various stages.
- Support participants in business planning, validation, and growth strategies.
- Coordinate and manage mentorship opportunities with community partners.
- Act as a trusted advisor, motivator, and accountability partner for participants.
3. Community Engagement & Entrepreneurship Programming (≈ 10%)
- Collaborate with community organizations to promote entrepreneurship.
- Deliver workshops and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Build and maintain relationships within the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.
4. Event Coordination (≈ 10%)
- Support planning and execution of events such as Pitch Nights, Job Fairs, networking events, and workshops.
- Ensure events are well-organized, engaging, and aligned with program goals.
5. Administration & Technology
- Prepare program materials, reports, and participant documentation.
- Track program performance and participant outcomes.
- Utilize and manage digital tools including: Advanced Microsoft Excel (essential), HubSpot (CRM), Canva (presentations/materials), QuickBooks, Wix, and other platforms as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field (required)
- Master’s degree in Business or a related discipline (strongly preferred)
Experience
- Proven experience in entrepreneurship (startup, business ownership, or side venture) required
- Experience teaching, training, or facilitating groups required
- Experience coaching or mentoring entrepreneurs or professionals strongly preferred
- Experience designing or delivering structured programs or workshops
Core Competencies
- Strong facilitation and instructional skills (both in-person and virtual)
- Client service and team player skills (willing to step in and help others if required)
- Ability to coach and guide entrepreneurs with practical, real-world insight
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, reporting, analysis)
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of accountability and ability to work independently
- Adaptability and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for entrepreneurship and community building
- Public speaking experience in both private and public settings.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
- Experience with presentation and design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint)
- General comfort with adopting new technologies and platforms
Working Conditions
- Full-time, salaried position
- Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility required to work evenings for program delivery (occasionally weekends)
- In-office, in-person facilitation and program delivery
- Three weeks of annual vacation

- Must have previous experience owning, operating, or managing a business, with a strong understanding of the entrepreneurial journey and the challenges faced by small business owners.
