Clear Hearing Centre is seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated Client Care Assistant to support the operation of a Hearing Instrument Specialist office and contribute to its day-to-day success.
This position is ideal for someone who excels at multitasking, enjoys solving problems on the spot, and is comfortable working independently. The successful candidate will work solo three days per week and play an important role in providing excellent service to our patients.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- No evenings, weekends, or statutory holidays
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Process insurance claims and submissions
- Complete ADP funding applications and documentation
- Prepare and submit WSIB claims and related paperwork
- Conduct patient recalls and follow-up communications
- Manage filing, record keeping, and general office administration
- Order hearing aids, accessories, batteries, and office supplies
- Assist in the daily operation of the office while working independently
Hearing Aid Support Duties
- Clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on hearing aids
- Support patients with hearing aid questions and basic troubleshooting
- Assist patients with Bluetooth pairing and device connectivity support
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, reception, administrative, or healthcare office experience is an asset
- Strong computer skills and experience with Blueprint Office Management System (OMS) software is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable managing responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at our Kingsville location when needed
