Kidztales Therapy & Learning Centre is a growing, multidisciplinary kids clinic serving families across York Region. Our team includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, and Educators working collaboratively to support children in building confidence, communication skills, and functional independence.
As we continue expanding our speech and language stream, we are seeking a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist / Clinical Lead to help shape clinical excellence, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
This is a leadership-track role for an experienced SLP who wants to combine meaningful clinical work with program oversight and team development.
About the Role
This role blends clinical practice with leadership responsibilities.
While most duties are conducted on-site to support team collaboration and client care, we offer flexibility for select administrative, documentation, report writing, and planning tasks to be completed remotely within a hybrid model.
What You’ll Do
Clinical Practice
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based intervention
- Develop measurable treatment plans
- Write professional reports and funding documentation (e.g., OAP, insurance)
- Collaborate with families, schools, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support and/or lead group therapy programs
- Provide education and workshops to caregivers
Clinical Leadership
- Provide mentorship and supervision to junior SLPs and CDAs
- Support onboarding and ongoing clinician development
- Maintain documentation standards and clinical quality assurance
- Contribute to program development (e.g., social communication, executive functioning, camp programming, etc)
- Participate in strategic discussions regarding service growth and expansion
Strategic Contribution
- Strengthen and elevate the Speech Therapy stream
- Enhance the collaboration with the Occupational Therapy and Psychotherapy teams
- Identify new service opportunities
- Support quality improvement initiatives
- Help build systems that allow the clinic to scale sustainably
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Registered and in good standing with CASLPO
- Minimum 5+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong expertise in social communication, expressive language, and executive functioning intervention
- Experience supervising clinicians or students is an asset
- Strong report writing and clinical reasoning skills
- Demonstrated leadership mindset
- Excellent communication skills with children, families, and colleagues.
