General Description: A forklift operator is generally responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials within warehouses or industrial sites to keep operations running efficiently. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Schedule: Full Time, Panama Schedule

Responsibilities:

Cleaning steel waste bins in a high paced environment.
Safe operation of a forklift
Dry mops, wet mops (wash/scrub). The washing/scrubbing of floors is done with manual or power scrubbing equipment.
Maintains and conducts preventative maintenance procedures on floor machines, vacuums.
Maintaining cleanliness of area and equipment.
Mechanical aptitude required
Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
Cleaning and sanitizing food production environment
Wear employer-specified protective gear, including two pairs of gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
Exposure to chemical cleaning solutions (with protective gear)
Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. during extended periods of time.
Follow all Health and Safety guidelines established by spec for this position.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required to work in an environment that is hot, wet & humid.

Requirements:

High school diploma,
Attention to detail.
Food industry experience and knowledge of cleaning in a food plant environment.
Previous Forklift Experience.
Strong communications skills, both written and oral, are required.
