WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Maintenance Electrician to address critical electrical issues in day-to-day manufacturing processes.
This is an on-site role based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.
PAY RANGE
The anticipated base hourly for this position is $42.00 to $44.00 an hour.
The exact salary depends on several factors, such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Responsible for inspecting and examining all machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems as required, such as VFD’s
-
Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools

Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions

Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and jacks to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery

Install and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls

Perform routine maintenance such as sharpen tools, adjustment, clean, lubricate and repair or replace defective parts of equipment

Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools

Install, examine replace or repair electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, measuring the currents, voltages and other electrical components

Reporting machineries issues. Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

Mechanical/Mechanics background considered an asset

WHMIS, Pallet Lift Truck, Forklift certifications are an asset

Red seal experience is a definite asset

Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset

Valid interprovincial red seal license/309A Certification is required
