Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Server to join our brand new top tier food trailer on Sarson's Beach. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on food safety and sanitation. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Clover POS
Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently and accurately
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality
Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas
Ensure food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy service periods to serve guests promptly
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Support team members in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Clover POS, is a plus
Strong skills in cashiering, food handling, and customer service are highly desirable
Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen operations will be considered an asset
Candidates should demonstrate good time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
