Harbourview Rehabilitation is currently looking to add a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to our team. Very competitive salary if you are looking for full-time work. If you are wanting to be an independent contractor, we can offer a flexible schedule and a very favourable compensation split.

· You will work in a salary-based position with the flexibility of an independent contractor. However, if you would prefer to be an independent contractor, we can make such an arrangement with you.

· We offer an above average salary that can range up to $110,000, depending on experience, for a full-time position.

· You will receive an extended health benefits plan with medical and dental coverage.

· You will have reimbursement for professional fees such as COTBC registration and liability insurance.

· You will have an allowance for continuing education and professional development.

· Your work environment is flexible with the option to work in the office (located in Surrey), have a hybrid work arrangement, or primarily work from home.

· Your work hours are also flexible, based on what is convenient for you.

· You will have the opportunity to work in a small office with a family-like environment of Occupational Therapists and a Kinesiologist/Clinical Counsellor.

· Your input, knowledge and expertise will be welcomed to enhance the services provided by our company.

What type of work will you be doing?

· You will primarily be working in a community Occupational Therapy position.

· You will work in various contracts with insurance companies such as WorkSafeBC, ICBC and other companies.

· You will be required to travel to different locations through the Lower Mainland and nearby areas in the Fraser Valley.

· You will have the opportunity to perform Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment services including in-home assessments, hospital discharge assessments, job site assessments, ergonomic assessments, equipment prescription, gradual return to work planning and monitoring, case management, physical rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation and/or brain injury rehabilitation.

What qualifications do you need to join our team?

Current registration in good standing with COTBC
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and the use of best practice standards
At least two (2) years of related clinical experience is an asset
Experience working with ICBC and WorkSafeBC is an asset
A valid BC Driver’s License with a reliable vehicle is required

Our services include Functional Capacity Evaluations, Work Capacity Evaluations, Cost of Future Care Assessments, Community Occupational Therapy Services, Job Site Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, Medical Exercise Therapy, Return to Work Planning and Monitoring and Clinical Counselling. Our office is located in the Surrey/Guildford area.
