Most insurance job postings say the same thing. Energetic. Self-starter. Fast-paced environment. You've read it a hundred times.
We're going to skip all that and tell you exactly what this is and let you decide if it's right for you.
WHO WE ARE
We believe insurance is about people, not policies. We're a relationship-first agency built on honesty, genuine care, and the belief that doing right by people is always the right decision.
We don't compete on price. We compete on trust. We listen before we recommend. We follow through on what we say. And when we make a mistake, we own it and make it right.
We invest heavily in our team, through structured coaching, ongoing professional development, and a culture where people feel supported to grow, not just perform.
We earned every client, every relationship, every result and we're still building.
THE ROLE
This is a relationship-driven sales role — full scope, every line.
You're not here to push policies. You're here to have real conversations, uncover what people actually need, and put the right protection in place. New business is the focus — and you'll work across every line we offer to get there.
What you'll be selling:
- Auto and Property — New clients, new policies, real relationships
- Commercial — Small businesses who need a trusted advisor, not a call centre
- Life and Living Benefits — Where real protection lives, and where your highest commissions are
- Household Growth — Cross-selling and deepening with our existing client base
WHAT YOU CAN EARN
- Base salary: $50,000 (OTL licensed) | $52,000 (OTL + LLQP licensed)
- Commission: Uncapped, tiered structure across all lines
- Full commission structure reviewed during the interview
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Both OTL and LLQP are required to work in this role long-term. Here's how that works:
If you come in without one or both licenses, we support you in getting there — including dedicated study time. Obtaining full dual licensing within the timelines below is a condition of continued employment.
- OTL: Required within 30 days of start date if not already held. We provide dedicated study time to prepare and book the exam, and cover the costs*
- LLQP: Required within 6 months of start date. Adding LLQP unlocks life and living benefits commission — the highest-earning line in the office. We cover the costs * and support you through the process.
- Already dual licensed? You come in at a higher base, hit the ground running on all lines, and your earning potential starts on day one.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive base salary — $50,000–$52,000 depending on licensing, well above regional market average
- Uncapped tiered commission on every line of business
- Group benefits — because we sell protection and we live it too
- 3 weeks paid vacation
- Structured coaching and professional development — we invest in our people, professionally and personally
- A real growth path — we're a growing agency with clear direction and room for the right people to advance
WHO YOU ARE
We hire for character first, skills second. Here's what we're actually looking for:
- You love the conversation — not just the close. You listen to understand, not to reply.
- You're driven by results and honest about what it takes to get there. You don't wait for someone to hand you leads.
- You're coachable. Feedback doesn't threaten you — it fuels you.
- You say what you'll do, and you do what you said. Accountability isn't a policy here — it's a value.
- Sales experience from any industry is a genuine asset — retail, financial services, real estate, telecom. Insurance experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Culture matters to you. You want to be part of something — not just employed by someone.
