The President will report to the Board of Directors and will be based in the company’s headquarters in Oakville, ON.

Position Summary:
The President will report to the Board of Directors and lead the senior leadership team across Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and related functions. This mandate calls for a commercially minded business builder who can scale the company’s systems, strengthen execution, and convert strong technical credibility into disciplined, profitable growth. The President will work closely with customers, supply chain partners, employees, and the Board to ensure high standards of quality, service, and financial performance are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, an entrepreneurial orientation, and the ability to build scalable commercial and operating systems. Experience driving proactive business development, expanding existing technical accounts, strengthening pricing and margin discipline, and using financial and operational data to guide decisions is essential. Proven knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is mandatory.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assuming overall responsibility for developing/updating the company’s overall market strategy, and business planning plus leading the preparation of budgets and setting company-wide objectives.
- · Build a proactive business-development engine using CRM discipline, targeted outreach, and measurable pipeline conversion.
- Meeting with the Board of Directors to report/update and assess finance and business performance and progress towards meeting budgets and objectives.
· Grow share of wallet in existing technical accounts through customer, application, and product mapping.
· Strengthen quote-to-margin discipline through clear pricing controls, margin reporting, and post-job profitability review.
· Upgrade finance, reporting, inventory visibility, CRM, and KPI systems to support data-driven management.
· Modernize market positioning, channel strategy, web presence, and application-specific sales collateral.
· Assess selective strategic adjacencies, including defence, transit, and AI/high-performance-computing data-centre infrastructure.

- Optimize market share and profits.
- Manage internal and external Sales & ISO targets.
- Leading and motivating the team to develop and implement processes, procedures, and practices to enhance departmental and company-wide performance.
- Developing & implementing strategies to address risk and maintain focus on opportunities.
- Ensure the team maintains processes and controls to ensure product quality is maintained and/or improved as per industry and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Inspection methods.
- Process audits.
- Coordination with Engineering department with new products and processes.
- Managing the P&L of this growing business in order to meet/exceed financial performance goals.
Candidate Qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Business, Design) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally including machining and assembly.
- Demonstrated track record in lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 environments etc. Experience in a TS 16949 or ISO 14001 environment would be an asset.
- Proven ability to build and scale proactive sales and business-development systems, including CRM, account planning, pipeline management, and profitable revenue conversion.
- Experience growing existing technical accounts through customer mapping, application analysis, cross-selling, and disciplined account management.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in pricing, quoting, margin management, and customer profitability.
- Strong understanding of tactical and strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Ability to review and analyze P&L and BS statements, assess variances, determine root causes, and improvement actions.
- Ability to lead, review and approve an accurate 12 month rolling forecast and current year forecast – including revenue, gross margin, fixed cost, EBITDA, capital, head count, inventory, and working capital.
- Demonstrated success implementing KPI dashboards, management reporting, inventory visibility, CRM reporting, and scalable finance/accounting workflows.
- Knowledge of modern go-to-market practices, including market positioning, channel development, digital presence, and technical sales collateral.
- Ability to evaluate strategic adjacencies such as defence, transit, data-centre infrastructure, and other technically demanding growth markets.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to manage a multi-discipliany team in a small to medium sized privately held company.
- “Hands on” knowledge and experience working with electrical and mechanical systems ideally including wiring harnesses, Electromagnetic Interference system would be an asset.
- Industrial hygiene, environmental health & safety leadership experience and knowledge

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
