Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment where teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential. The Pizza Cook will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling pizzas
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and other cooking tools
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
Serve customers promptly and courteously when required
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is required; training will be provided
Pizza Making Experience required.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards is advantageous
Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations is beneficial
Previous roles involving serving or working in the food industry will be considered a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
