Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary: Accounts payable responsibilities and duties for both US and Canada companies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strong AP processing skills with attention to detail
Reconcile Vendor accounts.
Process payment runs.
Bank Entries (payment/PAD’s/etc.).
Build relationships and correspond with vendors.
Responsible for expense management and approval
Responsible for accounts payable intercompany transactions between related companies

Knowledge and Skills:

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft office products with primary focus on Excel.
Experience with Concur Expense Management software.
Exceptional flexibility with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment and the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to work both independently with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.
Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships both leading a team and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Extraordinary commitment to maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrated effectiveness under pressure of deadlines in a growing/changing work environment.

Education, Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

Diploma or Certificate in business, finance or related field required and/or equivalent experience in the industry.

Requirements

3 + years’ experience in a similar role
Experience with SAP (preferred)
Criminal background check
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
References required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Sitting behind a desk looking at a computer screen up to 8 hours in a day.
Frequent sitting, bending, twisting, and standing.
Work primarily in office setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
