Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage service, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing overall restaurant operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily bar and restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
Supervise staff including training, and performance management to foster a motivated team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food industry practices.
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols in line with health regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily sales reports.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within the food service or hospitality industry.
Extensive restaurant management experience, including team management and customer service excellence.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Background in restaurant or hotel management is preferred.
Previous roles involving food handling, serving, or barista experience are advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to interview staff candidates effectively.
