Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service expectations
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
