Harbourview Rehabilitation is currently looking to add a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to our team. Very competitive salary if you are looking for full-time work. What type of work will you be doing?
· You will primarily be working in a community Occupational Therapy position.
· You will work in various contracts with insurance companies such as WorkSafeBC, ICBC and other companies.
· You will be required to travel to different locations through the Lower Mainland and nearby areas in the Fraser Valley.
· You will have the opportunity to perform Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment services including in-home assessments, hospital discharge assessments, job site assessments, ergonomic assessments, equipment prescription, gradual return to work planning and monitoring, case management, physical rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation and/or brain injury rehabilitation.
What qualifications do you need to join our team?
- Current registration in good standing with COTBC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and the use of best practice standards
- At least two (2) years of related clinical experience is an asset
- Experience working with ICBC and WorkSafeBC is an asset
- A valid BC Driver’s License with a reliable vehicle is required
