We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our growing construction and trucking team in the Niagara Region. This is more than a dispatch role, you will be the central hub connecting drivers, customers, suppliers, and operations while helping maximize fleet efficiency, customer satisfaction, and company profitability.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Dispatcher, you will:
- Coordinate the daily scheduling of trucks, drivers, and equipment
- Manage deliveries of aggregates, asphalt, and soil removal services
- Monitor routes, respond to changing site conditions, and solve logistical challenges in real time
- Schedule heavy equipment and operator assignments
- Coordinate float moves for construction equipment
- Assist operations and site teams with sourcing dump site locations Liaise with third-party partners and subcontractors as required
- Communicate with customers, drivers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Maintain dispatch records, driver documentation, and job costing information
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities to maximize fleet utilization
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Ensure accurate coding and tracking of revenue-generating activities Monitor truck profitability and utilization
- Help ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to make decisions quickly and work under pressure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- English fluency
Preferred:
- Construction, trucking, or aggregate hauling experience
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations
- Supervisory experience
- AZ/DZ Licence is an asset; candidates without this designation are encouraged to apply if they have relevant dispatch and construction experience.
