Overview
We are seeking reliable and physically capable Landscapers to assist with outdoor maintenance, property cleanups, planting, lawn care, and general landscaping tasks for residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
This is flexible work — you choose the landscaping jobs you accept based on your availability. Ideal for individuals who want to control their own schedule, earn consistent income, and take pride in delivering professional outdoor services.
Prior experience in landscaping, lawn care, property maintenance, construction, or general labour is a strong asset.
What You’ll Do
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and garden beds
- Remove weeds, leaves, branches, debris, and other outdoor waste
- Help with mulching, soil spreading, grading, and basic yard prep
- Load, unload, and move landscaping materials, tools, soil, mulch, plants, and equipment
- Assist with seasonal cleanups, including spring and fall property maintenance
- Operate basic landscaping tools safely, including rakes, shovels, trimmers, blowers, and wheelbarrows
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each job
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers from arrival to completion
- Follow all safety standards and proper lifting procedures on every job
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical labour and heavy lifting safely, up to 50 lbs or more
- Strong physical stamina — landscaping jobs may require bending, lifting, walking, and working for several hours
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Smartphone with data, required to receive and manage job assignments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew
- Attention to detail and pride in completing clean, polished outdoor work
Nice to Have
- Previous landscaping, lawn care, property maintenance, or general labour experience
- Experience using landscaping tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, or hedge trimmers
- Experience planting, mulching, or maintaining gardens
- Basic knowledge of outdoor maintenance and yard cleanup
- Customer service experience
- Driver’s licence is an asset
