We are looking for someone who:

Is a Licensed Millwright.
Has 3 to 5 years of experience as a Millwright in an automotive setting (preventative maintenance, continuous improvement (Kaizen), breakdowns, etc.).
Is available and willing to work mandatory overtime maintenance shifts are more extended to support our production department.
Has an excellent attendance record and arrives at work on time.
Has strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Has good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Has a desire to learn skills other than your area of expertise.
Has a good understanding of the Toyota Production System (this would be an asset).

Duties and responsibilities:

Support manufacturing processes, including injection molding, robotics, frame welding, seat assembly, IR ovens, presses and door panel assembly.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings and machine specifications.
Recommend technical solutions and implement changes.
Perform preventive maintenance activities.
Communicate with internal and external parties.
Carry out kaizen projects.
Other duties as assigned.

Shifts:

Midnight Shift - (Straight Shift)
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00PM TO 07:30AM
Overtime requirements and shift end times may vary based on business needs

Wages:

$45.87 per hour as a starting rate.
$46.65 after 6 months of employment.
$47.43 after 1 year of employment.
$48.99 after 2 years of employment.
$50.60 after 3 years of employment.
A $3.00 shift premium is added when working the Midnight shift.
Overtime time is paid 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
