Full job description

Northern Security is an innovative, customer-oriented leader in locksmithing, key cutting and security solutions. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are looking for an Estimator who is passionate about business growth and development who strives at providing excellent customer service.

As an Estimator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Performing site visits to meet with customers and assess their needs
Educating customers and answering technical questions
Prospecting new opportunities
Creating and following up on quotes
Making recommendations and upselling products
Managing customer accounts using our Field Management software (Field Edge)
Answering phones and checking/responding to voicemails in a timely manner
Monitoring and responding to email inquiries in a timely manner
Work with other departments and team members throughout the entire quote to approval process
Participate in year end inventory count
Other duties as required

Skills, Qualifications and other Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
Mechanical & electronic security knowledge is considered an asset
Personable, friendly and enthusiastic
Ability to follow instructions, be coachable, and adhere to company policies and procedures
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Good decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and be bondable
Ability to work with little supervision
Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with computer applications and technology
Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) or FSM (Field Service Management) software considered an asset.
Available to work up to 42.5 hours per week
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Mixture of driving, sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, working overhead, etc.
Bilingualism is considered an asset

Experience:

Estimating: 2 years preferred
Customer Service: 3 years preferred

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
