Dexcent Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to transform complex asset and operational data into actionable insights that support improved performance, reliability, and informed decision-making.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will leverage data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities while supporting the adoption of emerging technologies and analytics capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform complex data into actionable insights and recommendations that enhance asset reliability, operational performance, and overall business outcomes.
- Examine asset and operational data to uncover trends, emerging risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Contribute to the assessment and adoption of emerging technologies and advanced analytics solutions, including AI, machine learning, IoT, automation, drones, and integrated data platforms.
- Present analytical findings in a clear and practical way that enables stakeholders to make informed, confident decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful visibility into operational and business performance.
- Ensure reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical outputs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business priorities and governance standards.
- Establish, track, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to measure progress against organizational objectives.
- Monitor asset and operational performance on an ongoing basis, delivering regular reporting and highlighting key trends and areas requiring attention.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand information needs, improve reporting capabilities, and enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with IT, Data Governance, and operational teams to improve data quality, strengthen reporting functionality, and support business process improvements.
- Participate in business case development, requirements gathering, solution testing, validation, and implementation activities.
- Recommend and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and increase the efficiency and value of data-driven decision-making.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical role.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets and providing actionable business insights.
- Experience designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Experience supporting asset management, utilities, infrastructure, industrial operations, energy, or related environments is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL and data querying skills.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and integrating data for reporting and analysis.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics, and emerging technologies is an asset.
