The LCS Foundation’s purpose is to promote the advancement of LCS, with responsibility for all fundraising initiatives in support of the School, all community engagement activities, as well as managing the endowment. The Foundation is passionately committed to making the LCS of tomorrow an even better place for young people to learn and grow. Accountabilities:
Working closely with the Associate Director: Community Engagement & Advancement, support the organization and execution of our roster of exceptional parent and alumni events, which foster meaningful engagement of our constituents and offer authentic experiences to advance the school’s mission and strategic priorities;
Working closely with the Associate Director: Stewardship, support the implementation of our stewardship priorities, including providing assistance with the preparation of stewardship reports, impact reports, donor wall listings as well as donor acknowledgement and receipting processes;
Contribute to the preparation of high-quality donor correspondence and communications, presentations, reports and event materials;
Assist in the coordination of key governance and internal meetings, including with respect to scheduling, preparation and dissemination of agendas, advance materials and meeting minutes, as well as the coordination of follow-ups;
Enable the efficient operation of the Foundation office through a variety of administrative and logistical support projects
Uphold the School’s mission, vision, and values in all situations;
Some evening and weekend work is required to support events.
Qualifications and Experience:
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and experience:
Experience in coordinating and marketing events is an asset;
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, a customer service orientation, and a commitment to excellence;
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable managing professional communications with donors at all levels;
Warm, engaging and professional demeanor with the ability to represent the school professionally and enthusiastically with alumni, donors, parents and volunteers;
Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter who can balance the need to work independently with the need to contribute collaboratively as part of a team;
A person of integrity, sincerity, and discretion in all interactions;
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest standards of professional ethics;
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising CRM software is an asset;
University or college degree in a related field.
This is a full-time permanent position.
Compensation:
Expected compensation will range from $55,000-70,000 Please consider the salary range listed as a structural framework. At LCS, final offers are based on a holistic review of a candidate’s qualifications and specialized skills.
