REACH Orton-Gillingham Learning Centre is currently accepting resumes for part time OG Interventionist or Math intervention positions at our LANGLEY learning centre. This is an exciting opportunity for educators to join our awesome growing team and work with amazing students in the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
The upcoming positions can be part time 2 or 4 days per week for the right candidates. Part time positions are flexible and can be solely after school hours (3:15 - 7:00pm) or include earlier daytime hours (teaching blocks starting at 12:30pm or 2:00pm) but applicants must be available for after school hours at minimum. Reach is flexible with our working hours for the right candidates so that our team can enjoy the work/ life balance that works for them.
We work with amazingly creative, talented, intelligent children with language-based learning difficulties (including dyslexia) in 1:1 or small groups. We offer a huge library of OG teaching resources to help minimize lesson preparation time and mentoring support for our teaching team. Our staff enjoy a school- term schedule that includes two weeks off at Christmas, two weeks off at spring break, and an optional five or six week summer teaching schedule. Our wonderful teachers are creative, patient, understanding, energetic, and truly passionate about supporting our students with dyslexia and language-based learning difficulties. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
Applicants MUST have an excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, and experience working with students in support positions. Training or delivery of math instruction is important for our math interventionist position. As the Orton-Gillingham experts in Canada, we provide specific training for the right teaching candidates.
Applicants MUST send resume and a cover letter describing why they feel they are a great fit with our teaching team and their background knowledge of learning difficulties. In the cover letter, applicants must clarify their availability for school term positions (Mondays & Wednesdays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, or Mondays -Fridays). Applications without a personalized cover letter will be rejected.
