Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Manager to lead our organization's information technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise across a broad range of technologies, and excellent project management skills to support our business objectives and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage and oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization platforms (VMware, vSphere), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Lead system administration tasks across Windows Server, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems.
- Ensure robust information security protocols including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, Cisco routers, TCP/IP configurations, and PCI compliance standards.
- Implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime.
- Oversee application development projects utilizing technologies like Java, C#, .NET, Python, HTML, APIs, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement and support services.
- Maintenance/support of network infrastructure (Switches, Routers, Firewall, etc.)
- Maintenance/support of workstation infrastructure (desktops, peripherals, printers, etc.)
- Maintenance/support of storage administration (Backups, SAN, NAS, etc.).
- Provide technical support across the organization via help desk operations; ensure high-quality customer service.
- Lead system engineering efforts for virtualization (Citrix), SAN storage solutions, network infrastructure (WAN), Cisco routers, switches, DHCP, IIS servers, SCCM for endpoint management, SolarWinds for network monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards such as PCI DSS and ensure systems are up-to-date with latest security patches and updates.
- Supervise IT support staff; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Skills
- Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Citrix.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing services including AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in system administration for Windows Server environments (Microsoft Windows Server), Linux distributions.
- Expertise in network security practices including firewalls, VPNs, TCP/IP protocols, Cisco routers/switches.
- Hands-on experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle databases; proficiency in SQL queries and database management.
- Programming skills in JavaScript, C#, Python; familiarity with HTML for web applications development.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as PowerShell scripting, SCCM for endpoint management; CI/CD pipelines integration.
- Familiarity with application development frameworks (.NET), APIs integration, SharePoint administration.
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies using tools like Microsoft Project and Jira.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with leadership capabilities; effective communicator capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
