Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
Our clients Enterprise Projects team is seeking a highly organized and strategic Project Manager to lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) lifecycle for a critical business initiative: the StrategyOne replacement project.
As an Enterprise Project Manager, you will act as the central anchor aligning cross-functional teams, external vendors, and executive leadership. You will be responsible for defining the project approach, coordinating resource estimates, managing project budgets, and mitigating risks to ensure a seamless vendor selection and planning phase.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.

Identify and confirm project approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.

Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.

Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required

Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.

Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.

Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship.

Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.

Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors

Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects

Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects

Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies

Reports key metrics to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
-
5+ years of dedicated Project Management experience executing complex initiatives within large corporate or financial enterprise environments.

Direct, hands-on experience managing end-to-end RFP processes, software selection matrices, and third-party vendor evaluations.

Prior experience supporting technology modernization or legacy system replacement projects is highly desirable.

Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise environments, bridge gaps between corporate business units and IT, and maintain strong, positive relationships with senior leadership.

Exceptional capability in managing strict timelines, orchestrating complex cross-functional ceremonies, and juggling multiple operational dependencies without losing sight of the details.

Solid financial acumen to track project spend, forecast resource allocations, and monitor fiscal metrics during critical procurement phases.

Technical & Core Skills

Strong understanding of project management frameworks (PMP, Agile, or hybrid delivery styles) and standard project scheduling/tracking tools.

Direct experience managing project budgets, parsing vendor cost structures, and delivering financial health status reports.

Exceptional presentation and verbal communication skills; a proven track record of providing positive team leadership and motivating matrixed, cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Education and Certifications

University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

PMP® (Project Management Professional): Highly Preferred

CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) ( nice to have)

Scrum Alliance: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) ( nice to have)

PMI-ACP®: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner( nice to have)

SAFe®: Scaled Agile Framework credentials ( nice to have)

Work Location: Remote, preference for Alberta-based candidates but open to anywhere in Canada
