Position Overview
Reporting to the Vice President, Exploration, the Senior Exploration Geologist will execute and contribute to the advancement of exploration programs, geological interpretation, and resource development across the Company’s asset portfolio. The role combines field-based execution with technical input into targeting, modelling, and mineral resource development and technical report writing.
This is permanent, full-time position ideally based in Sudbury, Ontario but can offer flexibility to be based remotely, with required on-site presence during active exploration programs.

What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a professional, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, including experience managing exploration programs.
- Registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or eligible.
- Strong understanding of orogenic gold systems, structural geology, and exploration methodologies from regional to deposit scale.
- Demonstrated expertise in geological interpretation and 3D modelling.
- Extensive experience in core logging and compilation of historical datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with contractors, government agencies, local communities, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard geological and data management software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog, MX Deposit).
Responsibilities
- Execute exploration programs including diamond drilling, mapping, and surface sampling in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct mapping, logging, and sampling programs to support target generation and refinement.
- Generate and refine exploration targets using drill data, geophysics, mapping, and historical datasets.
- Contribute to regional and property-scale geological interpretations and evolving geological models.
- Develop maps, cross-sections, and 3D geological models using industry-standard software (e.g., Datamine, Leapfrog, QGIS).
- Interpret structural and mineralization data to support exploration decisions and resource development.
- Support the advancement of mineral resource estimates through data integration, interpretation, and modelling.
- Ensure geological data is collected, validated, and managed under appropriate QA/QC protocols, maintaining high data integrity.
- Manage drill hole databases and support data compilation, validation, and interpretation workflows.
- Provide timely technical updates including logs, sections, and assay summaries.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, assessment filings, and internal presentations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, contractors, and consultants, and support junior staff as required.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and includes base salary, performance-based bonus, and equity participation, commensurate with experience.
