Field Service Technician

Location: Hamilton Region, ON

Salary Range: $60,000–$63,000

We are proud to support our esteemed client in hiring a Field Service Technician for an exciting opportunity in the Hamilton region. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently, solving problems on-site, and delivering strong customer service.

Our client is looking for someone with proven field service experience, ideally servicing beverage, food, or commercial equipment, who takes pride in quality workmanship and building strong customer relationships. If you enjoy a role where no two days are exactly the same and like being out in the field making an impact, this could be a great fit.

What Will You Do?

Travel throughout the Hamilton region to service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customer equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently in the field
Build strong relationships with customers by providing professional and responsive service
Complete service documentation, reports, and work orders accurately
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory responsibly
Coordinate with internal service and operations teams to ensure timely issue resolution
Represent the company professionally at all customer locations

What Do You Bring?

Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar hands-on technical role
Ideal experience servicing beverage equipment, food equipment, or similar commercial equipment
Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical and electrical systems
Customer-facing service experience with strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently, manage service calls, and prioritize workload effectively
Must be based in the Hamilton region
Must have a place to park a company utility van
