Overview

We are a growing Winnipeg-based company specializing in cabinetry, countertops, and residential renovation products. We work with homeowners, contractors, builders, and renovation professionals throughout Manitoba.

We are looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team.

This position is more than showroom sales. The successful candidate should enjoy solving problems, building customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales goals. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, responsible, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Competitive hourly wage plus uncapped commission. High performers have excellent earning potential.

Duties

Assist customers in the showroom and provide professional product recommendations.
Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text message, Facebook Marketplace, and other social media platforms.
Prepare quotations and guide customers through the sales process.
Follow company schedules and daily work assignments.
Meet individual sales targets .
Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, and business partners.
Visit customer sites for measurements, consultations, and project follow-ups when required.
Learn product knowledge, inventory, and company procedures to provide accurate recommendations.
Work closely with the production, warehouse, installation, and management teams to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Utilize strong communication skills to explain product details clearly in English or bilingual settings

Experience

Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in cabinetry, renovation, construction, furniture, or home improvement is an asset, but not required.
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma is preferred.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, responsible, and results-driven.
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
Willing to continuously learn new products, sales techniques, and business development strategies.
Experience with Facebook Marketplace, social media, or digital marketing is an asset.
Valid driver’s licence is an asset.
