Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our landscaping team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various lawn and landscape maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape care, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes
Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems for installation and maintenance projects
Assist with planting, pruning, and landscape design tasks to improve aesthetic appeal
Maintain and repair gardening tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues as needed
Apply horticultural practices to promote plant health and growth
Support construction or installation projects related to landscape features such as patios, retaining walls, or water features
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all landscaping activities
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and proper storage of tools and materials

Skills

Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture techniques
Knowledge of landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control
Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of hand tools and power tools
Familiarity with construction practices relevant to outdoor projects
Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and effectively
Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for various landscape features
Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for project execution
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a focus on quality workmanship

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor environments who want to develop their skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.

Pay: $16.10 per hour
