Job Overview

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Kitchen Helper/Cook, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable dining experiences! In this role, you will be an essential part of food preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards for quality and safety. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient kitchen environment that delights our guests and supports our culinary staff. Whether assisting with meal prep or handling food service tasks, you’ll play a vital role in delivering delicious, well-presented meals in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of meals
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
Support the serving process by setting up stations and ensuring dishes are ready for presentation
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health standards
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe dining environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry environments is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and serve guests efficiently
Basic understanding of serving protocols and meal presentation practices
