Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Retail Sales Supervisor to lead our store team and drive exceptional customer experiences. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage sales activities, and ensure that merchandising standards are met. Your leadership will motivate staff, enhance sales performance, and foster a welcoming environment for customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual passionate about retail management and customer service to make a significant impact in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
Lead, train, and develop sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals through coaching and mentoring.
Manage customer interactions by providing outstanding service, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Oversee merchandising efforts, including product placement, pricing strategies, and inventory replenishment to maximize sales potential.
Handle cash register operations, including cashiering duties, cash handling, and balancing tills accurately at the end of shifts.
Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.
Monitor sales performance metrics using POS (Point of Sale) systems and prepare reports for management review.
Assist with purchasing decisions, budgeting, and inventory management to optimize store profitability.
Implement marketing initiatives within the store to promote products and special promotions effectively.
Maintain organized records of payroll, scheduling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven supervising or team management experience in a retail environment with a strong track record of meeting sales targets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and connect with diverse customers; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, inventory control, and administrative duties.
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for bookkeeping and pricing accuracy.
Experience in retail sales management including recruiting, training & development, and performance evaluation.
Knowledge of merchandising strategies, marketing techniques, and store presentation standards.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
Demonstrated leadership qualities such as problem-solving skills, time management, and effective communication etiquette.
