Project and Estimating Coordinator
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project and Estimating Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Estimator, contractors, vendors, and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of projects from start to finish. This position is a great entry level role to learn about construction PM fundamentals.
What you will be doing:

Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.

Track project timelines, milestones and requirements using the appropriate methods and software tools.

Coordinate project life cycle, from the initial planning, bidding, operations, up to project completion.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to ensure clarity and resolve any issues that arise.

Track and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, T&M, POs, and project schedules.

Help manage procurement processes, including ordered materials and ensuring deliveries align with the project timeline.

Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager, identifying any potential delays or issues.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations throughout the duration of the project.

Support the Project Manager in budgeting and cost control, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to financial plans.

Review shop drawings to ensure compliance and understanding of client’s expectations and enter into Procore.

Other duties as assigned by the Company.
What you will need to bring to the table:
- Degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
