We're looking for a dependable Class 3 Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team.
This is not a long-haul trucking position. Every day starts and ends at our yard in St. Adolphe, and you'll be home every evening.
This is a hands-on position operating professional vacuum truck equipment, working outdoors, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service. Every day is a little different, and you'll spend your time helping customers while working independently.

What Your Day Looks Like
- Start each morning from our yard in St. Adolphe.
- Drive local routes throughout southern Manitoba.
- Pump septic tanks, holding tanks, and grease traps using vacuum truck equipment.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Speak with homeowners, farmers, businesses, and contractors.
- Complete work orders using our mobile app.
- Return to the shop at the end of the day.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 3 vacuum truck safely and professionally.
- Service septic tanks, holding tanks, grease traps, and related wastewater systems.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine equipment maintenance.
- Complete electronic work orders and job documentation.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Follow company safety procedures and environmental regulations.
- Keep your truck and equipment clean and well maintained.
Requirements
- Valid Manitoba Class 3 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including handling large vacuum hoses.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable smartphone with a data plan for navigation, scheduling, and communication.
- Dependable with strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working independently while staying in contact with the office.
- Friendly and professional with customers.
Experience
Experience in the septic industry is an asset but is not required. We provide training for the right person.
Applicants with experience in hydrovac, vacuum truck operation, construction, agriculture, heavy equipment, municipal utilities, excavation, concrete, waste collection, or similar industries are encouraged to apply.
