Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all kitchen operations run smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for hospitality and are eager to learn about the culinary arts.

Responsibilities

Dishwashing Grills and Plates.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
Help with the organization of food supplies and inventory management.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Support the kitchen team during peak service times to ensure timely meal delivery.
Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.

Qualifications

Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices is an asset.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment or supplies.
