They are seeking an Account Manager to join their Winnipeg team and play a key role in managing customer relationships, supporting sales growth, and providing solutions within the electrical distribution industry.
About the Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of business accounts from our Winnipeg office. This role focuses on developing strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, preparing quotes, supporting projects, and providing knowledgeable product guidance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, B2B sales, customer service, electrical products, industrial supply, construction materials, or distribution and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing contractor, commercial, and industrial customers
- Identify opportunities to grow customer accounts and increase sales
- Respond to customer inquiries, product requests, and order requirements
- Provide product recommendations and solution-based support
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and sales documentation
- Follow up on opportunities to drive sales growth and customer retention
- Identify project opportunities, specialty products, and non-stock solutions
- Build strong relationships with customers through responsive communication and reliable service
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate orders, availability, and customer requirements
- Stay current on electrical products, industry trends, and customer needs
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in account management, B2B sales, customer service, or sales support
- Experience in electrical distribution, industrial supply, building materials, construction, or related industries is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Experience preparing quotes, pricing, proposals, or bid documentation
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with technical products and learning new product lines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to customer service
