Full job description

Our client is seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to join their team in a key leadership role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute across financial operations, reporting, cash management, and business planning within a dynamic and growing organization.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive approach to process improvement, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the business.

Immediate Hire

What's in it for you:

Salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 plus $20,000 bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
Manage working capital activities, including receivables, payables, and cash flow management.
Monitor financial performance and key business metrics, providing analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and support ongoing liquidity planning.
Partner with internal teams to ensure effective financial processes and operational alignment.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Assist with the development and enhancement of financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Participate in process improvement and system implementation projects.
Coordinate activities related to external audits and other compliance requirements.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

CPA designation (Canada) required.
7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
Previous public accounting and/or external audit experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.
Experience with cash flow management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered an asset.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to build relationships across departments.
