Full job description

Dallas Mercer Consulting (DMC) is growing, and we’re excited to expand our Disability Management Services in Saskatchewan.

This is an opportunity to join our national consulting firm and play a key role in shaping and growing our Saskatchewan operations while making a meaningful impact on employers and employees across the province.

More About the Role:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping employers and employees navigate disability claims (both occupational and non-occupational) to resolution.

As part of our growing team, you will:

Develop and maintain case management plans (occupational and non-occupational) that are outcome focused
Use a collaborative approach with employers, employees and key stakeholders to create action plans to safely return absent employees to work in a timely and sustainable manner
Identify, review and assess medical, functional and occupational information and factors
Identify and mitigate barriers to recovery and Return to Work plan
Maintain accurate documentation and case management records

What We are Looking For:

We recognize that disability management professionals can come from a variety of backgrounds. Ideally, we are looking for:

Knowledge and experience in disability management, return-to-work coordination, attendance management, insurance systems and/or workers’ compensation legislation
Experience in Disability Case Management is considered an asset
A related bachelor’s degree (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, and Nursing considered assets)
Related professional designations such as CDMP, CRTWC are considered assets
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Relationship building skills with a client-focused approach
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Sound judgement and decision-making
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset
