- Permanent Exterior & Landscape Lighting – installation of architectural and landscape lighting systems
- Garage & Home Organization – custom storage solutions, shelving, slat walls, and organization systems
- Smart Home Devices – installation and setup of smart thermostats, cameras, doorbells, locks, and lighting controls
- Roofing Rejuviation – roofing experience in repairs, replacements, or inspections
- Concierge / Customer Coordination – experience managing customer requests, scheduling, and follow-up communication
You do not need experience in all of these areas. Strong experience in any one of them, combined with a solid handyman background, is a great fit.
About Classic Home Services
Classic Home Services is a growing property services company based in London, Ontario. We provide a wide range of services including exterior maintenance, handyman work, property cleaning, and Christmas lights installations.
We are entering a growth phase and are looking for a Handyman & Project Coordinator who can initially work hands-on in the field while helping coordinate projects, contractors, and jobs as the company scales. This role is may evolve into a full-time project leadership position as the business grows.
Role Overview
In the first phase of this role, you will complete hands-on work while helping coordinate projects and support job execution.
In the future, the position may transition into managing multiple projects, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing job quality and timelines.

ResponsibilitiesHands-On Project Work
- Complete a variety of property service projects including repairs, upgrades, and maintenance
- Perform work such as exterior repairs, minor renovations, painting, and property improvements
- Support delivery of our new service lines – landscape lighting, garage organization, smart home installs, and roofing work
- Ensure work is completed to a high quality standard
Project Coordination
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating jobs
- Work with subcontractors and trades when needed
- Ensure projects stay organized and on schedule
- Communicate with customers about project progress
Operational Development
- Help develop job processes and standards
- Support and lead contractor and job management software
- Assist with identifying improvements in workflow and efficiency
Leadership Development
- Help train and support general labourers as the team grows
- Work toward managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong hands-on construction or renovation experience
- Has experience in one or more of our new service areas: landscape/exterior lighting, garage & home organization, smart home device installation, roofing, or customer coordination
- Is organized and takes pride in quality work
- Is comfortable working independently and solving problems
- Has experience coordinating projects or working with subcontractors
- Is interested in growing into a leadership role
- Is reliable, professional, and communicates well with customers
Experience with contractor software or estimating software is helpful but not required.
Compensation
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 base (depending on experience) plus bonuses.
- Performance and compensation reviews annually

Work Structure
- Work is primarily based in London, Ontario
- Typical work hours begin around 8:00 AM
- Some administrative work may be completed from home when appropriate
Growth Opportunity
This role may grow into a field leadership position overseeing projects, staff, and subcontractors as Classic Home Services continues to expand. As our new service lines (lighting, garage organization, smart home, roofing, and concierge) roll out, this position will play a key role in building and managing those teams.
