Job Overview

Perth Precision are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler/Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing tools, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and safety are paramount.

Duties

Assemble parts and components according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
Operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications
Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints for assembly processes
Conduct quality inspections during assembly to identify defects or deviations from standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic maintenance or changeovers as needed
Utilize forklift or other warehouse equipment when necessary for material handling (if certified)
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments preferred
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is highly desirable
Experience with machining, welding, or mechanical systems is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement instruments
Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous but not required
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and work with technical documentation
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
