About the Position:
We are seeking a Registered Architect that must be registered with the AIBC.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate professional experience in architecture, preferably in Canada.
- Proven project management experience, including leading teams and overseeing complex multi-family and residential projects from design through completion.
- Experience securing approvals from local authorities, including rezoning and development permit applications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp (additional knowledge of design software is a plus).
- Solid understanding of local building codes (Part 3/Part 9), construction methods, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design, development, and delivery of complex multi-family and residential projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design objectives are met and project goals are achieved.
- Ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards while maintaining a high level of design excellence.
