Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely meal service
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance levels
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed consistently
Assist in meal preparation during busy periods and help manage inventory levels to minimize waste
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Support serving staff by coordinating timely food delivery and addressing any special dietary needs or requests

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members effectively
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Good communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house staff and ensure seamless service
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through quality food presentation and service
